A stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County has reopened after a serious crash.

The crash, which involved a tandem tractor-trailer, happened before daybreak on Tuesday, Nov. 17, on the northbound side under the Meadowbrook Road overpass in Fairfield between Route 1/Exit 23 and Black Rock Turnpike/Exit 24.

The roadway was closed for several hours while the truck was removed.
